AIT has been building tools for the microjoining industry for over two decades now. We began long ago when Hughes Aircraft was seeking a supplier for their new parallel gap electrode design, originally called a duotip, which today we call an S3 at http://a-i-t.com/PDF/s3.PDF . Since our inception into the market with Hughes Aircraft long ago, our quality and reliability has positioned us as the industry leader for microjoining tools. Many companies mistakenly believe that once they acquire the welding/soldering equipment, they must continue to source consumable tools from the original equipment supplier. This can be a very costly misunderstanding. AIT produces all styles of electrodes, reflow soldering tools, and hot bars at prices far below that of the original equipment builders.
